A Thrilling New Multi Round Series from Bernie’s V8s
For 2026, Bernie’s V8s is proud to unveil Historic Outlaws — an all-new racing series that pays tribute to the raw, untamed spirit of motorsport’s golden era. Inspired by the roaring success and ethos of our current series, Historic Outlaws is a celebration of the most iconic race cars from the 1970s and 1980s. This is not just another historic racing event — it’s a movement.
A Broader, Wilder Breed of Racing
What sets Historic Outlaws apart? This series is designed to welcome a much wider spectrum of competition machinery — embracing advanced engineering, all cylinder configurations, and all forms of engine aspiration. These are machines with attitude, with presence, and with stories etched into every scar and scratch on their bodies.
For the first time in the UK, we’re giving centre stage to legendary American IMSA, Trans Am, and IROC cars. Alongside them, we’ll showcase iconic one-make series such as the TVR Tuscan Challenge, and salute our European GT and Touring Car legends — including the legendary Group 2, Group 4, and Group 5 categories.
This series offers something long overdue: a competitive and exciting home for modified and modernised classics — machines that have too often been left without a place to race in the UK.
Beyond the Track: Community, Camaraderie, and Class
Off the circuit, we’re continuing the tradition of warm hospitality and camaraderie that has defined Bernie’s V8s. Our paddock isn’t just a place to prep cars — it’s a place to connect, share stories, and build lasting friendships. This community-first ethos has been a driving force behind our growth, loyalty, and the sheer joy our events deliver.
